Love the tea pot.🍰
Happy birthday Claire, wishing you a lovely 30th year !! 🎂🫖(btw I also have kind of a phobia of balloons, I feel you haha) It feels so nice to listen to you talk about the things you're passionate about. The Six Lives exhibition's book looks amazing ! Your St Nicholas decorations are very pretty, what an impressive collection ! It makes me want to start one haha The William Morris teapot IS pretty, indeed ! I'm 29 too, and have been following you for about ten years I think, your videos always make me want to read more and to go to England someday ! 💜
thank yoou, you did gorgeous recording~ 🙂
Happy birthday and I loved your birthday hauls. The Six Wives exhibition looks incredible. 🍰🎁🎂🎉🎊💐🧁🥳
Here in Italy, in the city where I live, is really hot and humid right now 🥵 📚😊
Lovely
🍫
You deserve more views! ❤
So exciting for you in your new home. Beautiful blouse. Hope you give us a tour of the interior of your new house.
What a beautiful video with soft music. Nice to see a young person who says they are romantic. I thought it had died with my generation. Glad I found your channel.
Lovely
It’s constant rain here in Houston, Texas! I love it though
Oh, and I‘m reading „Echtzeitalter“ by Tonio Schachinger (Austrian) at the moment. It won the German Book Prize last year. Absolutely loving it! 😊📚
Hi Claire, I’m also a huge fan of Monet and the exhibition sounded wonderful. I read The Railway Children in 2021 and really enjoyed it, more recently I read Heidi and it was wonderful - would absolutely recommend it.
Would you tell us about your book necklace.
📖
🍁
Another wonderful children's book that I've recently read and enjoyed so much is The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame. It's a book about friendship and the love of home. I read it with Miranda and The Comfort Book Club. Like you, there are many children's books that I never got around to reading as a child, so I'm playing catch-up now. It's never too late. ❤ It's a perfect summer day here in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It's sunny with blue skies and a temp of 75°. Happy reading!
Anne of Green Gables is a Summer read. The musical is played each summer at the Charlottetown Festival on Prince Edward Island. I live in Atlantic Canada. I just found your channel; very interesting.
Today was glorious in Ontario as a 10 day heatwave broke and it only got to 27 C or something like that instead of 39 C which with 83% humitidy or higher is brutal. I am going to introduce you to some Australian literature that popped into my mind instantly when you talked about childrens literature - The Magic Pudding by Norman Lindsay. Im sure you will love it.
I am here in 2024 and i want to ask a question about how to monetize your e books
I love the Anne of Green Gables books! They were my favorites as a young girl. I’ll definitely have to revisit them again. On another reading note, if you’re a big fan of books and reading like myself, then you’ll definitely like using Immersive Translate. It’s basically a free browser extension that supports a wide variety of languages. You can use it to translate all your ebooks into any language. Are you into manga? There’s also a cool feature, where you can get accurate translations to the manga you’re currently reading, which is a total plus.
What's that on your nose?
It’s just a reflection on my make up from having the main light on right above me because it was so grey outside! I normally film in natural light.
@@Claire_Fenby Oh, I see ☺
Thanks for pointing it out though 😅
Hey Claire! We just had Hurricane Beryl hit us here in Texas. We dealt with a lot of rain and wind, and now we’re just left with the summer heat. Currently, I’m reading War and Peace. It definitely seems kind of daunting, but I’m just taking it one page at a time.
📚 I'm reading about Mary pole but I have a few on the go. I can't wait to see your bday hall.
Please post continuously 😢
I currently aim to post once a fortnight or at least every month with my current work schedule 😊
Hi Claire! My favorite children's book is 'The Last Unicorn'. Its stunning. I thoroughly enjoyed this video! Here in Maine we have had so much rain - (thunder and lightning storms to be exact) but today finally some sunshine! 🌻
The Phantom Tollbooth is a gem! Also the Narnia series still a favourite. Hot and humid in central Canada.
I just finished this and it took me forever to get through as kept stopping to think and reflect on what I had just read! Definitely the type of book one needs to read more than once. Great video and review!
❤📚
No.California hot, hot, hot. Reading C J Sanson's Heartstone. Tomorrow meeting a friend at the library and taking a walk around local pond.
We’re currently experiencing a heat wave on the West Coast of the USA. 😢 I can’t wait for autumn!
Thank you. Yes I can imagine you are pretty wired up, my granddaughter speaks as quickly as you do. I can only offer one recommendation is to open you mouth more when you speak. . That might help. You are , and forgive me for saying this but you very pretty and look lovely. Thank you for telling me about yourself. I hope I didn’t offend you … I was only hoping to understand you more. I loved that you love literature and was wanting to hear what you had to say. Yes nature walks and reading make you peaceful don’t they. I will not stop watching you but perhaps I will watch you twice each time as I think you are worth it. I love literature and as I write and my background is teaching. It might interest you to know I live in Australia and I did live in England for a few years though I did not get to Yorkshire. I have been watching Miranda Mills recently who talks about books and she also lives in Yorkshire. So I am seeing it anew. Well thank you for replying to me that was nice of you and I hope I can gain a lot from your lovely videos.
London, Saturday 13 July, cold and grey. Rain likely soon.
I am totally with you on reading children's books for the first time as an adult! I have just bought the beautiful clothbound editions of The Secret Garden and The Railway Children and can't wait to get stuck in 📚
I feel that I went from Winnie the Pooh and memorizing Christopher Robin poems to Sherlock Holmes. There was some Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and some Little House on the Prairie (hello ‘70’s) but I am seriously dug into Victorian literature and mysteries. Read a lot of classics out loud to my children Wind and the Willows is a highlight) but like you I gathered them as an adult. Now I like to give the Little Prince to my great nephews when they are about nine. Love your new shelves. 📚
It’s hot with humidity in Montreal….lots of rain this summer.
I didn't read a lot of children's classics when I was a child so I'm grateful to read them as an adult. I read The Secret Garden for the first time this year and loved it. I also adored Heidi. And I Capture the Castle is on my TBR. 🙂 Current weather in Northern California: ☀😎
Hello from sunny Colorado! 🏞🌞It's been a lovely summer mix of showers and sunshine with a big heatwave of 102° expected this weekend. Currently finishing A Conjuring of Light / The Shades of Magic trilogy by VE Schwab. Thinking about starting Wolf Hall next! Love your videos!
It’s sunny, 26 and breezy in Chilliwack, about an hour inland from Vancouver BC. A beautiful July day. Hot enough to grow corn, but not too hot for my roses.
Over the pennines in wet windy darkest Lancashire. Happy reading.
I just discovered you. I do like your video but you could possibly slow your speech down. You speak so quickly and I am not understanding much of what you say which is a picture.
@@CaroleWeaveLane Hi Carole, unfortunately I’d struggle slowing my speech down even more due just how fast I normally speak/my brain works but I would recommend listening with the subtitles on as they’re pretty spot on📚
